That’s exactly what our recent Netwalking event at Willenhall Memorial Park set out to achieve, and we’re thrilled to say it was a resounding success!

The first of four Netwalking events planned for 2024, this gathering brought together local businesses and community groups for a refreshing outdoor networking experience. Against the stunning backdrop of the park’s winter scenery, attendees had the chance to connect, collaborate, and support one another in a relaxed and inspiring setting.

Insights on Mental Wellbeing

One of the standout moments of the event was an insightful talk by guest speaker Kerry Tonks, a respected mental health trainer. She shared valuable advice on managing stress and prioritising mental and physical wellbeing—an essential reminder for busy professionals. Her words truly resonated with the group, highlighting the importance of self-care in our work and personal lives.

Creativity in the Outdoors

Adding a touch of artistic inspiration, local creative writer Saida Chowdhury performed a heartfelt poem written especially for the event. Her beautiful words captured the power of nature in sparking creativity and reflection, leaving a lasting impact on all who listened.

Building a Stronger Business Community

Jeni Sellick, Centre Manager at West Midlands House and the driving force behind Netwalking, was delighted with the connections formed on the day.
